Hunter Bohon – Medical Project

Hunter was diagnosed with Metastatic Esophogeal Cancer on August 2, 2024. This was a shock to everyone. He is only 26, has no family history, and barely had any symptoms. My husband and I went into the ED with the thought that he might have gall stones, we spent the next 48 hours in the oncology wing of the hospital. We then learned it had already spread to his liver by the time we caught it. We have also found out that his form of cancer is extra aggressive, which also makes it rare.

We have been married for two years. Hunter is a fourth-year medical student who is going to have to put his studies on hold for a while to focus on beating this cancer. I, Leah, am a teacher. Even with insurance, hospital bills and chemotherapy bills are far too much for us to afford. We ask if you have anything to give, no matter how small, please do. Anything helps. If you have nothing to give, we fully understand and are with you in that, please share this and pray for his healing with us. We believe our God is stronger than any cancer, and He will give us the strength to fight as He provides for our every need.

Thank you for your support.
