Samuel Fasanmade

Samuel Fasanmade is the only son to Pastor Solomon and Grace Fasanmade who migrated to Swaziland from Nigeria, West Africa over 42 years ago as Christian missionaries.

Samuel was born, raised, and attended his primary and high schools in Swaziland (Eswatini) while his parents continued with church planting. In 2000, Pastor Solomon founded the New Life Christian School with the vision of raising Godly generations nurtured in Christian values and ideals.

Samuel attended college in the neighbouring South Africa where he met his wife Takhona (“TK”). While in college, he became sick and was diagnosed with sickle cell disease. Every effort was made in hospitals in Swaziland and South Africa to improve his health. Samuel is currently receiving kidney dialysis three times weekly for four hours each session.

In the midst of his illness and dialysis treatments, Samuel works full-time as a supervisor for a civil engineering construction company. His current job requires him to live temporarily away from home and his wife. The doctors are now advising him to consider taking a furlough from work to focus on his health. The work furlough will only deepen their already vulnerable financial situation.

After four years of an unbearable situation and painful experiences, Samuel’s health declined, and the doctors recommended him for a kidney transplant. After much prayer, the search for a kidney donor began. A kidney donor has been found but Samuel’s health insurance doesn’t cover the procedure, and they don’t have the funds to pay for the surgery and the other financial needs associated with the hospitalisation and follow-up treatment. The current costs related to the treatment are estimated to be $40,000. Of course, there may be unforeseeable additional costs associated with the transplant and continuing care.

Samuel’s faith is strong, and he is trusting that God will provide what is needed to restore his health. We are asking folks to prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible donation to this life-saving treatment for Samuel. Any amount is important and meaningful! The need is urgent. First and foremost, please pray for Samuel’s health and for God’s will. Our God is good, and His love endures forever!!
