Born and raised in Nandi County, Kenya, my earliest memories are etched in struggle and survival. I am a child of a single mother who carried the weight of our world on her frail shoulders. Life for us was not just difficult—it was relentless. Basic needs were luxuries beyond our reach. Food was scarce, and though education was government-funded, we couldn’t afford exam fees. Shoes were an unimaginable privilege, something I only saw on the feet of others.
Yet, through it all, my mother remained my pillar of strength, shielding me from the full force of our harsh reality. But life, in its cruel unpredictability, took her away when I was just five years old. In that moment, my world shattered. I became an orphan, alone and vulnerable in a world that had already shown me little mercy.
With no one to turn to, I was forced to fend for myself in ways no child should. At the age of seven, I cleaned people’s homes just to afford a single meal. Some days, there was no work, and hunger gnawed at me like an unrelenting shadow. I walked from home to home, knocking on doors, asking for food—not for indulgence, but for survival. Life was unbearable, a constant battle to make it through just one more day.
It was in this darkness that I found refuge at Kipkaren Children’s Home. There, amidst the shared sorrow of other children like me, I began to rebuild. The home became my sanctuary, a place where I found not just shelter, but hope. I discovered the power of education—the one thing that could break the chains of poverty. I embraced learning with an unyielding determination, knowing it was my only way out. Through sheer resilience and the kindness of those who believed in me, I navigated through school and into higher education. Every milestone was a victory, every achievement a tribute to the sacrifices that paved my path.
Today, I stand at the threshold of another defining moment—the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Management at Claremont Graduate University. My passion lies in entrepreneurship, leadership, business, and transformative change. I have spent years shaping my career in communication, public relations, and business strategy, but I know that to create real impact—to empower communities, nurture sustainable leadership, and open doors for others like me—I must advance my knowledge and expertise. Claremont offers the perfect environment to refine these skills, equipping me with the tools to lead with vision, resilience, and integrity.
However, this next step requires financial support beyond my means. That is why I am reaching out to you. I need your prayers to strengthen and guide me through this journey, and I humbly ask for your financial support to help make this dream a reality. Your generosity will not only help me achieve my goal but will also be part of a greater mission—one where I can uplift others who, like me, have faced adversity but refuse to be defined by it.
I invite you to be part of this transformative journey. Every prayer, every act of kindness, and every financial contribution is a step toward rewriting a story of struggle into one of triumph.
Together, we can shape a future where leadership is built on resilience, compassion, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Join me in making this dream a reality.
