Liam Egerdahl
Liam Egerdahl has long had a passion for politics, history, and the preservation of the freedoms that make America unique. That passion began years ago riding in the truck with his dad, listening to talk radio and discussing current events. Together, they would wrestle with important questions: Is this right? Is it true? Is it constitutional? Most importantly, how does it align with a biblical worldview? Those early conversations laid the foundation for Liam’s desire to thoughtfully engage culture with both conviction and humility.
After winning a history contest, Liam was given the opportunity to attend a Turning Point USA convention. That experience ignited something deeper. Surrounded by thousands of young people who cared about faith, freedom, and the future of America, Liam realized that even as a teenager, he could make a difference. He left determined not only to learn more about history, government, and culture, but to help others understand what they believe, why they believe it, and how those beliefs should shape the way we live and function as a society.
Soon after, Liam founded his own community Turning Point USA chapter in Manatee County. As president, he has worked to inspire fellow students to grow in their knowledge of America’s founding principles and to become engaged citizens. One of the most meaningful moments of his leadership was helping organize a 9/11 remembrance event that brought together children, teens, parents, and teachers to honor those lost and to thank first responders for their daily sacrifices.
Liam, now a senior in high school, has continued seeking opportunities to learn and serve. He has attended various political events, soaking in as much knowledge as he can while volunteering where needed. Recently, he spoke at a Manatee Patriots meeting, sharing his passion for seeing his generation step forward with courage and conviction. His heart is to be a clear, thoughtful voice for young Christian conservatives — standing firmly on biblical truth while engaging the public square with respect and integrity.
Most recently, Liam was honored with the opportunity to serve in the Florida House of Representatives Messenger Program in Tallahassee. During the first week of March, he will volunteer full-time, assisting Florida representatives during their legislative session. This hands-on experience will give him invaluable insight into how our state government functions and further equip him to serve faithfully in the future.
While the Messenger Program is a tremendous honor, participants are responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, meals, and related expenses for the week. If you would consider partnering with Liam financially to help make this opportunity possible, your support would be deeply appreciated. Your investment is not only helping him get to Tallahassee — it is helping equip a young leader committed to faith, freedom, and principled service.
