Aaron Phinney
As many of you already know, our dear friend Aaron has recently been diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia, a rare neurodegenerative disease that causes nerve cells in the brain to lose their function over time.
As an incredibly intelligent man who worked as a Nuclear Engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for over 17 years, Aaron has always been a source of inspiration and support to those around him. He has a passion for sports, particularly motocross, and has competed in multiple PNW Motocross events over the past five years, many of which were sponsored by Movement Mortgage. Known as “Phinney” to his fellow racers, he is a true friend, always giving, kind, honest, and hardworking.
As Henri-Fredric Ameil once said, “It is not what he has, or even what he does which expresses the worth of a man, but what he is.” Aaron embodies this quote in every aspect of his life, and we are grateful to have him as a friend.
Aaron now resides with his family back in Maine, and they are seeking the best care for him as he navigates this difficult journey. As his friends, we want to support him and his family in any way we can.
We are reaching out to our community to ask for your help in supporting Aaron and his family during this challenging time. With your generous donations we can provide them with the resources they need to ensure Aaron gets the best possible care and comfort. Thank you for your support and for standing with us in supporting our dear friend Aaron.
