Aidan Dale (pictured holding his service dog) had a severe accident several years ago when he was 19 years old. He suffered a TBI that was diagnosed as a DAI (Diffuse Axonal Injury) Type 3 and our family was told he would not survive. Aidan is a true medical miracle! The Lord had different plans for him. Through the last 4 years of healing and continued challenges, Aidan developed post TBI epilepsy that has increased. Last year in 2025, Aidan was hospitalized 8 times for severe seizures and was only able to work very part-time. He has had many medication challenges to find the right combination to get seizures down, and he also had to give up driving due to seizures. Due to his type of brain injury, there is permanent damage throughout all of the layers of his brain which brings challenges of short-term memory loss, cognitive and psychological challenges. For the last four years since his severe TBI, we have had many financial challenges with paying for his care. A friend of the family told us about Helping Hands Ministries. We are so very thankful and blessed to have been approved for a project fundraiser to help pay for a portion of his medical bills he has accrued from last year (2025).
