Ed and Amy Itano
Nearly one year ago, Ed Itano underwent a double lung transplant and has now been hospitalized for almost 12 months. While Ed continues to make encouraging progress, he remains in rehabilitation and requires ongoing medical care and therapy. Throughout this journey, Amy has faithfully stood by his side—working full-time, caring for their family, advocating for Ed’s medical care, and navigating the daily challenges that come with a long-term hospitalization.
The financial impact has been overwhelming. Despite careful planning and tremendous faith, the family continues to face substantial out-of-pocket medical expenses, reduced household income, and increasing difficulty covering everyday living expenses. As Ed continues his road to recovery, our hope is to help ease some of this financial burden so that Ed, Amy, and their family can focus on what matters most—his healing and recovery.
