Elizabeth Dean, 46, was a flight attendant with Skywest airlines. While on layover in Austin Texas in September 2021 she suffered a severe stroke. She was in the hospital in Texas for 2 months before being life flighted to her home Jacksonville Florida. She was in Brooks rehabilitation Hospital for another 6 weeks before moving into her parents home. She requires full time care. She is wheel chair bound. She cannot walk,has no use of her left arm and leg. She is very alert but can hardly speak. Her right eye will not open. Her elderly parents along with a caregiver are taking care of her.
