Gary Darnell, married for almost 50 years, with 3 children, and 8 grandchildren, is now battling liver cancer.

He taught at Shiloh Hills Christian School for over 30 years.

A lifelong runner from his days at Liberty University, spending years coaching cross county at KSU, all the way to last week running to see grandkids and cheer for baseball games.

He and his wife Cathy currently live in Roswell GA and spend most of their time with grandchildren.

He still runs almost every day while living in community with family and friends from the local one life fitness to the people of Northside Church.
