Jessica’s world was shattered last year when her husband and father to her 5 young children abruptly abandoned the family and filed for divorce. Shortly afterward, he was arrested for heartbreaking crimes and will now spend the foreseeable future in prison. This has left Jessica with no hope of financial support. She is trying to find a way to provide for her 5 children while also staying present in their lives as she is their only parent now. She is trying to keep a roof over their head and keep familiarity in their lives as much as possible while surviving on a private school teacher’s income.
