Marty is a wonderful mom, wife, co-worker and friend. She is the CEO of The Women’s Resource Center in Mobile, AL which is a faith-based non-profit ministry that strives to see that Life is valued, People are empowered and Families are thriving. Marty is very passionate about being a vital part of the community that the Lord has placed her in, whether it in the office or grocery store. Her prayer for herself and all women is that they rise up, say “pick me” and watch how God will use them to change the world! During the first week of December, Marty was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer and shortly after that the doctors discovered that the breast cancer has spread. Marty is the picture of a prayer warrior and her famous tagline “Retreat is NOT an option” is coming into play more than ever. Marty’s husband, Dow and her children, grandchildren and extended family are all praying for a full recovery and complete healing.
