Missy Kennedy

My name is Missy Kennedy and I have worked with Helping Hands Ministries for the past 16 years. I have been blessed to serve others in need who have found themselves in the place I am now. I counted it a privilege to serve the thousands of people I had a part in helping over the years. I have prayed and cried with many dear people when they found themselves in a valley. At the time, I never dreamed I would one day become a pastors wife. In 2015, the Lord called our family to start a church in Deer Park, WA. God moved our family 2500 miles away from “home” to fulfill His will. It has been difficult and I have often said it has been the hardest thing we have ever done. I now stand corrected. We have been faithfully serving Christ every day and I don’t plan on quitting. My husband Bryon pastors a small flock of devoted believers and we love being here. We are a family ministry, where myself and 2 daughters serve an intricate roll in our church services. We live in a very dark spiritual area, “AKA” the devil’s backyard, but we have not quit. God is still good in the valley just as He is on the mountaintop. My husband is frequently saying that God has “us” living what he preaches and I sing about. I believe that is what every Christian should experience. It keeps our focus on Him.

In February 2026, I became ill over the weekend. I nursed myself trying to remedy the issues I was experiencing. After several days of no relief, I found myself sitting in the ER. This was a big task as I do not have any health insurance and was making myself sicker thinking about how I would pay for all of this. After waiting 3 hours in the ER, I was finally seen. They did an CT scan and determined I had a large mass of 12.4 cm in my colon that was partially obstructed. I was told it was highly probable it was cancerous. I was admitted and they began prepping me for emergency colonoscopy the following day. Upon completion they removed several polyps that were precancerous, but the large tumor was sitting on a polyp that they left untouched and was told it was no doubt going to be cancerous. I was discharged and set up with my surgeon and oncologist.

When I came home, I prayed fervently on what path I should take. I was told after my surgery; I would need to do chemo. I had a strong conviction not to do chemotherapy at that time but to try and do a holistic route with a strict cancer fighting diet along with supplements. God gave me peace and instruction to begin this right away. After a month, I became very ill, weak and could not eat. It was the week before my surgery, so I ended back up in the ER and was hospitalized until my surgery. I had the colon resection surgery at the end of March 2026 which biopsy showed Stage 3 Colon Cancer. I also had to have my Appendix removed along with 28 lymph nodes (2 of which were cancerous). CT also showed I had a tiny spot on my lung which was too small to biopsy which they were going to continue to monitor.

At my 3 month post-surgery checkup, labs looked great but I had one lymph node in my abdomen that was showing up enlarged just 0.5. They felt this was from the surgery and would recheck at next scan. The tiny spot on my lung had no change in size. They would recheck me in 3 more months. I have been faithfully sticking to this holistic all organic, 100% grass fed diet now for 6 months. I have had no sugar, no processed foods or even ate out away from home during this time. I followed close instructions from my Licensed Holistic Practitioner. Having periods of only juicing the vegetables and strict detox regimens. I have been doing a regimen to cleans my lymphatic system since I had 28 lymph nodes removed. I have for the most part up to a few weeks ago felt very good. I felt healthy and had lots of energy. I know the Lord had me on this path for a season to prepare my journey ahead.

At the beginning of August 2026, I had my 6 month post op CT scans and blood work. My regular work was all normal, but my special cancer blood work showed significant increase in my numbers. My CT scan showed the lymph node in my stomach had increased from 0.5 to 0.8. Also, It is showing a new growth on my liver. I am awaiting my upcoming appt with my oncologist, but with all the research it appears I am possibly in Stage 4. My family has been prayerfully seeking God’s plan for me and the path we should continue on. I came across information on EuroMed Clinic in Arizona which is an alternative cancer treatment center. The clinic focuses on holistic approach with using both traditional & alternative therapies and procedures. They target several kinds of small doses of chemo directly to the area. The small doses along with the alternative therapies is not damaging to your immune system and rarely causes any side effects of sickness. They use Insulin Potentiation Therapy. This approach allows them to use a fraction of the dosage of toxic drugs used in conventional chemotherapy, and to specifically target cancer cells. By leaving healthy cells intact, the body retains much of its strength for healing and continuing to fight disease.

My husband, myself and daughters again have prayed about this decision. We feel God has opened this door for me to get help. I am 100% trusting the Lord for healing in whatever manner HE feels to do it in. This treatment center is very costly, and I am seeking assistance to help make it possible for me to go. Without financial assistance, I will be unable to attend. It is approximately 9 weeks and will have to have my family take turns staying with me. The treatment is 5 days a week. It is an outpatient clinic so I would have to have long term lodging to stay as well as travel back and forth for my family members. After

the treatment I am required to go back every 3 months for a maintenance dose. We have spoken with the doctor and after reviewing all my medical records he feels I am a good candidate and says its very treatable. Due to the stage and fast advance of my disease, he recommended not to wait weeks or months. The fee has to be paid before I can begin treatment. I currently live in WA so I will have to stay in AZ for the short term treatment.

Please be with my family in prayer as we take this journey together. When the Lord was calling my husband to WA to start a church, God had given him his word as confirmation. I needed a word from God as well, just for me. One morning I was overwhelmed and asking God to show me. I sat down at my kitchen table and just opened my bible. I began reading in Joshua 1. By the time I got to 1:9 it was like God was reading it out loud to me. That is what I needed to hear from the Lord. This week, I just happened to be back in Joshua and the same verse that brought me through then was once again the same verse I needed this week. Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Thank you for your prayers and I appreciate any support you wish to give.
