Nikki Buffington, age 40, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 following injuries sustained in an accident on their beloved chicken farm in Royston.

Nikki was born in Anderson, South Carolina and lived most of her life in Elberton.  Nikki was the strong willed matriarch of her family where she took great pride in her home and her yard.  She loved spending time outside- whether it be at the beach (her favorite), camping with her family, or working in her flower beds.  She worked diligently at everything she did; and she demanded the best of herself as well as others.  Simply stated, Nikki was “THE BEST.”

Left to continue her legacy of love and hardwork are her husband, Chris Buffington; three children, Samuel Guarnella, Chloe Guarnella, and Chase Buffington; mother, Lynn Martin; father, Nick Forrester; sisters and brother, Jessica Martin Verdin, Dalton Forrester, and Hannah Forrester; grandmothers, Hazel Forrester and Mary Jane Stansell; niece and nephew, Brooklynn and Kendall; mother in law, Frances Buffington; sister in law, Paula James; and brother in law, Jimmy Buffington (Jennifer). She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Paisley; and countless loved ones and friends.

A celebration of Nikki’s life will take place at a later date.
